What does kava taste like? Earthy and peppery. Most people try a single shell first, which is our traditional serving, and go from there.
Is it loud? Afternoons and early evenings are quiet enough to read or work. Friday nights are the busiest, with comedy on the stage.
Can I bring a group? Yes. We host private parties of up to 40 with no minimum and no deposit.

What a typical visit looks like
Walk in, look over the menu board, and ask whoever is behind the bar for a recommendation. Staff will walk you through kava, kanna and the rest of the menu without any pressure. If you come between 4pm and 7pm, Happy Hour pricing applies every day.
The room has stools at the bar, couches in the lounge, board games and video games on the shelf, and a small stage. People come for a first date, to study, to meet friends after work, or to see the show on Friday.
Friday Comedy Night and Open Mic
Every Friday the lounge turns into a comedy room. Sign-ups start at 7:30pm, the open mic starts at 8pm, and pro Long Island comics go on at 9pm. There is a suggested donation at the door.
