This is whole white vein kratom leaf, dried and crushed into small flakes instead of milled into powder. People use crushed leaf to brew kratom tea the old way, the same way the leaf has been steeped in Southeast Asia for generations.
Crushed leaf strains easily, so the tea comes out clean with less sludge at the bottom of the cup than powder. Steep it, strain it, and add honey, lemon or ginger if you like.

Simmer the leaf in water, then strain it through a fine mesh or coffee filter. Some people add a squeeze of lemon while it simmers.
